Q1. What type of hoist is available to hire?

A1. It is a 4.5T clear floor single post style type of hoist.

Q2. Do you provide access to mechanical tools and equipment

A2. Yes we do, we provide tools and equipment. A roll cab tool box loaded up with the most common hand tools and various pieces of mechanical equipment.

Please bear in mind we do not have everything, so if you need something in particular for a job contact ahead of time to see if we can supply it, if not it will be your responsibility to source it.

Q3. Do you charge extra for access to the tools and equipment?

A3. No we don't charge extra, tools and equipment are included with the hoist hire.

Q4. Can anybody use the DIY hoist or is it for trade only?

A4. No we don't charge extra, tools and equipment are included with the hoist hire.

Q5. What happens if we don't finish the job on our car and need the hoist longer?

A5. We will discuss this when it arises, it all depends on how much longer is required and if there are other customers booked in the following days.

Q6. Do you need to be specially trained and qualified to use the hoist?

A6. No you do not to be specially trained or qualified, but some common sense is required. Management have the right to cancel your booking if it is obvious you don't know what you are doing.

Q7. What do we do with old oil, fluids, filters and unwanted replaced parts?

A7. You are able to dispose old oil and fluids on site, a disposal fee will be charged at $5 per 10L.

We have general waste and metal scrap bins for other things you need to dispose, there will be no extra charge for these items.

Q8. What happens if a tools or equipment gets damaged or lost?

A8. It is your responsibility to look after the tools and equipment you use, if anything is lost or damaged while you are using them you will have pay for replacement or repairs

Q9. On the occasion when a vehicle is left overnight is there security such as bollards and CCTV to protect peoples vehicles?

A9. Yes we have bollards and CCTV onsite

Q10.What happens if we spill oil and mess up the area?

A10. We have a spill kit on site for any large amount of oil or fluids that is spilt onsite.

Any mess that you create while working must be cleaned up before leaving.

There will be cleaning equipment and cleaning products onsite for you to use
